Navigation Usability Testing

ROUND 1

We shared 5 prototypes (including our current nav as the control). Each prototype was seen by a different group of users. We tested for:

  • Ease of use around shopping

  • Findability

  • Personal shopping preferences

  • Reactions to styling services

ROUND 2

We put the new navigation concepts head-to-head and showed them all to the same group of prospects. We wanted to understand:

  • Which menu they’d prefer to shop from, and why

  • How styling stacks up against Try Before You Buy, when both are present

  • The words/phrases users choose to describe each nav (i.e. Functional, Generic, Too Much Information)
